Made for Etsy digital sellers

Your file’s too big for Etsy’s 20 MB limit? Sell it anyway.

You made something big and beautiful. Then Etsy’s 20 MB wall made you shrink it, split it into “part 1 of 5,” or paste a sketchy Drive link. Upload the full-size file here, drop the tidy branded PDF we make into your listing, and your buyer taps once to get the real thing. No blurry compression. No monthly fee.

Sound familiar?

If you’ve ever posted this in a seller group…

You’re not being difficult. Etsy just makes big files painful. Here’s what we hear from digital sellers every single week:

Does anyone know how to zip PNGs so they fit the 20 MB limit?

And the only answers are “compress it” or “use Google Drive.”

My guide was too big, so I had to change the whole document just to get it to fit. Such a bummer.

Shrinking your best work just to upload it.

I do massive files, 100 MB+. The workaround is Dropbox… but then you pay $30/month.

Or a raw Drive link that looks unsafe and gets flagged.

SellAtelier takes all of that off your plate: one tidy, branded PDF you drop into your listing in seconds.

Watch it work

Watch a 280 MB file become one tidy PDF your buyer just… taps.

Here’s a peek at your dashboard in action, nothing to install. You upload the big file, we build its branded PDF, and you watch every buyer download roll in. It stays this simple in real life too: a couple of handy buttons to grab your PDF or remove a file, and that’s it.

How it works

Three steps. No tech, no stress.

1. Buy once

Check out in a couple of taps, right here on the page, no account to create. Log in any time with just your email, no password to invent, nothing to remember.

2. Upload your file

Drop in your full-size file (up to 5 GB total, kept private for 3 years). We build a tidy branded PDF for it, no shrinking, no splitting into parts.

3. Add the PDF to Etsy

Attach that little PDF to your listing like any normal download. Your buyer taps the link inside and gets the real file, no account, no “where’s my file?” emails.

Coming soon

Update a file once, every past buyer gets the new version.

We hear this constantly: you fix a typo or add a bonus, and there’s no way to get the new file to the 100–600 people who already bought it. Etsy freezes their download the moment they pay, and emailing everyone by hand is impossible. Letting you swap a file in place, so everyone keeps the same link and always gets your latest, is exactly what we’re building next. Want it sooner? Tell us.

Wondering if 5 GB is enough?

Let’s see how much of your shop fits.

Slide to your usual file size, we’ll show how many you could keep in the 5 GB plan.

Built to be trusted

Yes, it’s allowed on Etsy, and your buyers stay safe.

Etsy-friendly delivery

You hand over a PDF through Etsy’s normal digital-download flow, the same pattern big sellers use for large files. Nothing sketchy to get your listing flagged.

A private, unguessable link

Each file gets its own random, private link that’s never listed or indexed anywhere, and the file itself sits behind a link that refreshes every few minutes, so it can’t be crawled, scraped, or hotlinked. Only the buyers you hand it to can open it.

Dead easy for buyers

They tap the link in your PDF and the file downloads. No sign-up, no app, no account, nobody gets confused, nobody emails you.

No password to lose

You log in with just your email: we send a one-time sign-in link, so there’s no password to remember or leak.

Questions

The stuff you’re probably wondering.

Is the free plan really free?

Yes, and there’s no card to enter. You get one active listing with up to 150 MB behind it: enough to put a real product in your shop and watch a real buyer download it. It doesn’t expire and it doesn’t turn into a paid plan on its own. If you fill it up, we tell you and you decide, nothing gets deleted behind your back. Log in every few months and it stays yours; if an account goes untouched for a long while we email you well before we tidy it up.

Will my images lose quality?

No, we never compress anything. Your buyer gets the exact, full-resolution file you uploaded. No blurry PNGs, no shrinking your guide down just to fit a size limit. What you upload is what they download. Selling a bundle? We pack your files into a single .zip. That’s lossless packaging (think of it as a tidy folder), not the kind of compression that makes images blurry. Everything inside opens exactly as you made it.

Is this allowed on Etsy?

Yes. You deliver a normal PDF through Etsy’s usual digital-download flow, the PDF just links out to your full-size file. It’s the same pattern plenty of sellers already use for large digital products, so there’s nothing to get your listing flagged.

How do my buyers actually get the file?

You attach the little branded PDF to your Etsy listing, just like any download. Your buyer opens it, taps the button inside, and the real file downloads, no account, no app, nothing to figure out. See an example PDF.

Can someone who didn’t buy use the download link?

The link is private and unguessable, a random address that’s never listed or indexed anywhere, and the file sits behind a link that refreshes every few minutes, so no one can crawl, scrape, or stumble onto it. It does work like a normal Etsy digital download, though: it isn’t locked to a single buyer, so if someone you sold to chooses to forward their link, whoever has it can download, the same as any digital file you deliver. For the vast majority of sales that’s never an issue.

How big can my files be?

Way bigger than Etsy allows, up to 2 GB (2,000 MB) per upload, within your 5 GB total. Selling a bundle? Drop in several files at once and we zip them into one clean download for you.

Can I update a file after people have bought it?

Today, each upload is its own file. Auto-updating a file for everyone who already bought it, so you never have to email 100–600 past buyers again, is the #1 thing sellers ask us for, and it’s exactly what we’re building next. Want it sooner? Let us know.

Do I need to be techy to set this up?

Not at all. Buy once, log in with just your email, upload your file, download the PDF. There’s nothing to install, no code, and no password to manage. If you can upload a file to Etsy, you can do this.

Is this a lifetime deal or a subscription?

Neither. It’s a one-time payment that covers 3 years of storage. “Not a subscription” means exactly that: we never auto-charge your card, no monthly fee, no surprise renewal like a $10/month Dropbox. To be upfront: when the 3 years are up, you renew (another one-time payment, only if you want to keep your files and links live), and we’ll email you a reminder before then, so you’re never caught out. We skip the “lifetime” promise on purpose: it’s how we keep the service reliable long-term and the price tiny for small Etsy sellers.

What happens after 3 years?

Your license covers 5 GB of storage for 3 years, and your Etsy listings keep working the whole time. We’ll email you a reminder before it’s time to renew, so you never lose a link by surprise. If you do nothing, your buyer links simply stop working until you renew, but your files aren’t deleted, they’re just paused, waiting for you. Renewing is one more one-time payment, only when you choose to.

What if it’s not for me?

No stress, if SellAtelier isn’t right for you, just contact us within 7 days of buying for a full refund, no questions asked. Refunds go back through Paddle, the same way you paid. Reach out any time via the contact page.
